Another sister missionary

This is Sister Short and Sister Luster ready to leave on their missions after spending two weeks in the MTC.

Sister Short was with us in the MTC. She is from Tennessee and has a cute southern accent, which she is very proud of. She will be serving in the Abequerquie mission as an office worker--same as we are.

The world is waiting!

Here we are in front of the map at the MTC. I am pointing to Trinidad where we will be serving. As you can see, they feed missionaries very well at the MTC. Mayby I'll loose a few pounds when we get to Trinidad. We are anxious to get to thenfield.

Farewell

Today, Feb 28,2010, we gave our farewell talks in sacrament meeting. Part of our family came on Saturday and stayed over until Sunday. The people that were here included Terry, Taunia, Tanner, Cambry, Darci, Kenna, Justin, Alyse, Monique, Amber, Aubri, Jeff, Shelle, and Cherl Toleman.

After meetings we gathered at our house for a nice dinner. A good time was had by all. Afterward everyone except Justin and Alyse left. Then we began to wrap up a lot of loose ends, clean the house, and do our final packing.

We will be leaving for the Provo MTC in the morning. We need to check in bettween 10:00 am and 11:30.

Called to the West Indies

We have been called to the West Indies Mission to serve in the mission office for a period of 18 months.

We enter the MTC in Provo on March 1, 2010 to be trained until March 13, when we will depart for mission headquarters on the island of Trinidad.

We are excited and regard this as a great opportunity to serve in the Lord's Work.
